Is your relationship with the competition in good standings? I have noticed that keeping a great relationship with my competitors can benefit all of our businesses. So you don’t provide a specific product or service someone is looking for. What better way to provide something you don’t offer than to past it to a competitor. You, in essence, still take care of the potential client by referring someone you have a relationship with, and the potential client still receives the services or product that they intended to buy. Not trying to up sell or change what they were originally looking for. I would call that integrity! Others might call it stupidity. One thing is for sure, you and your competition can come through for one another. And you get the benefit of true friendships.
Special thanks to Mel. You helped provide a business with the payroll support services that they were looking for. With integrity! Thank you.
